The news of this day were devastating – Karl Lagerfeld, fashion icon, extraordinarily creative mind and one of the most influential designers ever has passed away in Paris at the age of 85.

The fashion world is at a standstill – words cannot describe how much Karl changed fashion and overall the fashion house Chanel. He was creative director of Chanel since 1983 and with his endless imagination and creativity showed us his world of fashion.

Karl left his mark in fashion. He was ahead of his time. A unique talent. He build a legacy. He did not only design for Chanel, but also for the Italian fashion house Fendi and his very own brand Karl Lagerfeld.

Karl Lagerfeld was one of the most iconic and celebrated designers of the 21st century. He was powerful, passionate, curious and humble. He will be missed. But his style and his designs are immortal.
