Riccardo Tisci, creative officer of the British traditional megabrand Burberry revealed the great news on Instagram – there will be a collaboration with designer Vivienne Westwood. British heritage meets funk.
Vivienne Westwood has always been an inspiration and role model to Tisci because in his opinion, she represents the British style in a unique way and mixes punk with funk. The collaboration between both British labels is therefore a „perfect match“.
A limited-edition collection will be launched in December 2018 and be available in stores. The collection will consist of reworked styles from Vivienne Westwood’s archive.
Vivienne Westwood was founded in 1971 and is, like Burberry, British tradition and heritage when it comes to fashion.
With the collaboration of both labels, Burberry wants to deliver something new and unique onto the fast-fashion market. Burberry is moving on the fast-lane and no surprise the label is becoming stronger every day. We are very excited to see the final collection.
